Cave World Celebrate Anniversary With iPhone Shoot-em-up Sale

By Ishaan . April 17, 2011 . 12:58pm

Cave’s iOS game division, Cave World, is one-year-old this month, and they’re celebrating by putting three of their shoot-em-up titles on the iPhone on sale until the end of the day. The anniversary sale also ties into their Japan earthquake relief effort.

Until the end of the day, Espgaluda II, Dodonpachi Resurrection, and Mushihimesama Bug Panic will all be sold over iTunes at a lower price than usual. The first two games will cost $4.99 (down from $8.99), while Bug Panic costs $0.99. All proceeds from the sale of Bug Panic will go toward earthquake relief.

The offer’s only on until the end of the day, so you might want to hurry if you’re interested in these games at all. The sale is also on in Europe and Australia, but due to time differences, we aren’t sure whether the same timing applies to those regions.

I’ve been playing Bug Panic and its fun little game, especially for $.99.

  • BTA

Err, hasn’t this sale been going on for the past week or so? :x

    • OneOkami

Well I know Bug Panic has been that price for at least a week.

  • Can i buy these even if I don’t have an iPod touch, and then transfer them to my device at a later date?

    • Yeah, I did that today. Bought all three games and getting a iTouch next month.

      • Cool I just did the same ;)
There’s also a free BUG TIMER app
Thinking of getting CHAOS RINGS next… do Square games go on sale?

  • Happy Gamer

i got espgaluda II and dodonpanchi the first day it was on sale because i noticed bug panic was on featured products for only 0.99.

they are both really well worth the purchase

  • Happy Gamer

kind of off topic but do u know anywhere I can learn to play these two games as far as getting insane multipliers? I really really enjoy shmups but I was never really the good player ever.

Got DDP Resurrection a few months ago, probably best digitally released game I’ve ever bought. Guess its time to round out the three.

I didn’t read the article in full that it was only for the 17th April, too late now.
