Square Enix are developing follow-ups to their original high-profile iPhone RPG, Chaos Rings. That’s right, not one but two games. The first is Chaos Rings Omega, set 10,000 years before the events of Chaos Rings. Here’s the game’s debut trailer:

The other game is Chaos Rings 2, mentioned in this week’s Famitsu magazine, but Square Enix haven’t mentioned anything about that game, other than that it’s in development.

Chaos Rings Omega is due out in May on the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. That’s two big iOS releases from Square Enix next month: Chaos Rings Omega and Imaginary Range.

  • I don’t get it but I see Olgar and Vahti and is that Ayuta? How the hell did he go there lol anyways I love the first game so I’ll keep an eye on this one!

    • You have to play Olgar and Ayuta’s story for that But if you really want to know

He was created to find the people with perfect DNA for the survival of mankind

I thought the preview character was Geralt at first glance.

also no matter how you look at it this game has to have an unhappy ending, or else there wouldnt be a chaos rings 1.

I hope one day Square Enix will port this series to PSPNGP3DS, I would really like to play it but I can’t justify buying an i-something just for it :

for once im getting interested with the whole app downloads for ipod touch and iphone.

it seems mobile gaming has been changing recently, visual novel games from 5pb, cave shumps etcc.

i just hope mobile gaming won’t replace handheld gaming :P

I hope at least 5pb brings their visual novels to mobile gaming IN ENGLISH since Sony & Nintendo and third party localization teams could care less (save for Lux-Pain, Time Hollow, and 999)
