By Ishaan . May 7, 2011 . 3:27pm

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 was recently at the GTI Asia Taipei Expo, an annual amusement and gaming machine exhibition, and so was the game’s producer, Katsuhiro Harada, to show the fighter off and discuss it with the local media.

Harada has been tweeting about the expo lately, and uploading pictures from the event as well. Additionally, there’s also new local test footage of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 on Youtube:

Finally, you can find fresh screenshots and a few snaps of Harada over at Chinese site, GNN.

i cannot wait for this :D

i wonder if they’ll pull another Tekken 6 one?

releasing the vanilla version first in the arcades, then the update one with new characters, balances, stages but arcade first. then after 1 year and half(after vanilla) they’ll finally released it on consoles.

stop playing tekken 6 for awhile, i’ll definitely play the hell out of this in the arcades :P

  • Given the non-canon storyline, will Eddie Gordo revert back to his Tekken 3 incarnation?

  • puchinri

I am so ready to play this. I hope we won’t have to wait too long for it to hit arcades here. Maybe in Fall~?

Man, the Korean Duo player was absolute crap, it takes skill to be that bad with the Tae Kwon Do fighters

  • KyoyaHibari

And I hope the Tekken 6 custom outfit data crosses over, it’d be a pain to get all that stuff again

  • Come on Namco…Give us some Tekken vs Street Fighter stuff!!!

according to SDtekken interview, Process on TxSF is practically 0% (i know they showed us the Ryu 3D model before) because the team is focusing on TTT2, and (may be) something (rumoured Bloodline Vengeance) that Harada will (probably) announce on the 9-13th of May when he’s in Dubai according to his tweets.

      excuse my () lawl

    • Yea I was kinda surprised at first that this (Tekken Tag 2) was announced right after the Tekken vs Street Fighter announcement. Then again they probably want Street Fighter vs Tekken to be out before they focus on Tekken vs Street Fighter which makes sense since you want both games to sell well.

Will Forest Law be in it??

Need Tekken X SF… I can care less on this game and SF X Tekken… I want to see what Harada does with the SF characters…
