Atlus and Kylotonn’s co-op medieval adventure, The Cursed Crusade, has been delayed from summer to fall 2011. Atlus sent out a new trailer for the game along with the updated release window announcement:

The Cursed Crusade has you playing as Denz, a holy templar, and Esteban, a shady mercenary. The game supports both online and splitscreen multiplayer, and is being developed for the Xbox 360, PC (via digital download) and PlayStation 3.

I’m concerned now as to the time of the game’s release. I just hope it’s not close to a certain soul related game published by namco bandai.

Looks awesome. There are way too many good games coming out in the fall.

Not saying they should rush a game that isn’t ready, but this does seem like a huge hit to any potential success.

July and August are pretty barren, even more so than usual this year. Cursed Crusade was pegged for late July when more people might have checked it out looking for something new in a slow time for new games. Pushing it back to the fall with all the big name games reduces that chance of an impulse pick-up.
