Atsumete! Kirby Floats To Japan In July

In case you missed the news, there’s a new Kirby game headed to the Nintendo DS in Japan. Developed by HAL Laboratory, Atsumete! Kirby lets you control up to 10 Kirbys at once, using the stylus.

Atsumete! Kirby isn’t too far from release. Nintendo have the game pegged for July 7th, at 3,800 yen. Aside from this game, there’s another Kirby title headed to the Wii as well.

No localization plans have been announced for Atsumete! Kirby yet.

  • And here I thought it’s a title for the 3DS.

Using the stylus… sigh. Still, it could be good.

Canvas Curse still holds up today as one of the best games made for the DS, and it was highly tied to stylus control.  With that in mind, I’m not at all worried about this one…

      • Agreed.  Canvas Curse is phenomenal, and definitely on my all-time favorite DS games list.

I enjoy that Nintendo plays around with Kirby and makes each game extremely unique.  They’re each entertaining in their own way, and while a few in the series feel just slightly off in some of the gameplay aspects, those problems are never large enough to detract from just how much fun playing Kirby games are overall.  I’m really looking forward to this one as well as the new Wii game, and am super glad to see this recent string of new Kirby releases.  Now I’m just waiting for a Kirby Tilt ‘n’ Tumble 2 and/or Kirby Canvas Curse 2 for the 3DS!!

      • Also enjoyed this one the most out of all Kirby games I played. It was also somewhat difficult (compared to other Kirby games), which i think helped the game a lot in the long run.

I was wondering what had happened to this one. Glad to know it’s coming out soon.

  •  I’ll buy it.  I love Kirby… and it has nothing to do with the pink chicken, either.  That’s just a coincidence…

Can I suck up a Kirby to turn into Kirby Kirby?
Then another one to become Kirby^3?
    Kirby^4? Kirby^5?!

The possibilities are endless! (Well actually, they end at Kirby^10).

  • Reminds me of Docomodake, do want.

  • Ten kirby’s? Are they going to get all hive mind, or do I have to control them all one by one?

    Cuter than buttons.
