The Goddesses Bless Ocarina of Time 3D With A Special Package In Europe

By Ishaan . May 17, 2011 . 8:26am

Nintendo of Europe are putting out a special package for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, for folks that pre-order the game. The special package will come with a gold sleeve title sheet and a double-sided A2 sized poster. One side of the poster will depict Link in battle, and the other side will show him riding Epona.

Additionally, we also have some further details of the game, courtesy of UK retailer, Game. Readers that have kept up with Ocarina 3D know that the game also includes the Master Quest mode, introduced in the Gamecube re-release of Ocarina of Time. In Master Quest mode, Game say, the game has been reversed horizontally, so locations and items are now mirrored. Game say that enemies will do more damage, too.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is out on June 17th in Europe. The U.S. will get the game on June 19th, and Japan will see it on the 16th.

Note: Kaishou in the comments points out that the special package offer can only be availed at Game and Gamestation. Thanks!

  • I am excited to get to play Master Quest again.

  • Have pictures of these goodies been released yet?

    • No, not yet or we’d have included them. We’ll keep an eye out for images. :)

    I really hope something is announced for the US release as well since nintendo had to be an ass and region lock the 3DS ;_;

      God damned territorial lockout
      The best way to stop piracy is not by forbidding people from buying your stuff

  • Apparently you would get the special package only from game and gamestation. You’re better off buying it from gamestation as it’s £5 cheaper. I find it weird because gamestation is owned by game so I was expecting both retail to sell it for the same price.

    Going to contact other retail like shopto wherever they will receive the special packaging.

  • i love the screen showing link in the courtyard by the temple of time. ahhh, this game is huge and amazing. so much to explore and do. <3

    Gosh darn it. I don’t even have a 3DS yet and I’ve already put down a pre-order for this game. What’s wrong with me? >_<

    To be honest, I was kinda hoping for a bundle with a 3DS too (maybe a special version, like the Triforce GBA SP with Minish Cap), so I’d have a good excuse to pick one up after all. You guys think it might still happen?
