Samurai Warriors 3: Empires Will Wage War On PlayStation 3

Samurai Warriors 3 is going to receive yet another PlayStation 3 iteration in the form of Samurai Warriors 3: Empires this August. While no further details have been announced, the game has only been confirmed by a store flyer as a PlayStation 3 title thus far.

Aim to unify the country and story mode will let players become a historic Daimyo, the flyer claims. Samurai Warriors 3 was originally released on the Wii in 2009. Following this, updated versions of the game for the Wii and PlayStation 3, Samurai Warriors 3: Xtreme Legends and Samurai Warriors 3Z, were released in Japan earlier this year.

hmm so what’s the chance for western release since the PS3 SM3Z not come?

    • GVmanX

Higher, as we got SM3 on the Wii.  SM3Z was the game with some extra content (and some removed) with prettier graphics.

  • Less samurai warriors.  More sengoku basara.
Even the horrible localization was hilarious.
It’s like G Gundam as compared to Gurren Laggan.

I’ll buy it if it’s better than Dynasty Warriors 5 Empires. And yay for Masamune Date!

Yes, keep chugging out the Empires Koei. I find them more enjoyable than the vanilla versions.
