Marvelous released the very first trailer for Senran Kagura: Portrait of Girls today. I doubt anyone wants to read a wall of text before they watch the trailer, so here you go:
Senran Kagura is about kunoichi, or female shinobi. During the Sengoku era, shinobi carried out missions involving spying, deception and assassination. Later, they vanished from the public eye, but tales of them still exist today. This is because corrupt politicians and large corporations employ shinobi to further their ambitions. In order to counter the rise of evil ninjas, the government established Hanzo Academy, a training school for female shinobi.
Marvelous say that Senran Kagura will have both action and adventure parts. For the action part, bursting boobs producer, Kenichiro Takaki, promises a combination of sexy and violence with new game systems. Each of the girls will have different abilities.
For the adventure part, Marvelous promise a detailed story where you’ll get to see the girls’ lives at Hanzo Academy. While you wait for more info on the game, you can read about the cast of Kagura here and here. The game is due out on September 22nd on the Nintendo 3DS.
