You’ve already seen the new trailer we posted last week, but Namco Bandai followed up with a fresh batch of screenshots for Dark Souls this week. Namco say Dark Souls has nearly 100 unique enemies. You can find more of them below:

    I doubt FromSoftware would stoop so low as to call a color edited enemy unique, so I’m really looking forward to go against that good hundo of snazy creatures. I’m sure some of them may simply be weapon swaps (as with D’S’ 2-1 bag ladies and other such minions) but that’s still a different fighting style.

    And, wait a minute. By the look of that first thumbnail screenshot, I’m assuming that confirms the soul system for at least the experience system.

      I was watching a stream of when they showed Dark Souls of at E3 and it looks and plays exactly the same as Demons Souls, so no worries there.

    I hope killing this red dragon is more fun than killing Demon’s Souls’ in 1-2. Though I loved the game to no end, camping the bridge with my bow diminished the satisfaction I got from taking it down. To my knowledge, there was no other way to kill him either.

    I’ve still got to finish Demon’s Souls, I’ve got a backlog of game to finish (Mass Effect 2 still wrapped). But still I gonna get this game day 1 just for the limited edition!

    Subduing Bosses in Demon Souls (after having died millions of times!)
    always felt so undeniably satisfying, and it appears Dark Souls will deliver the same experience and much more!
    ….Let the Soul Harvesting continue….
