Okay, Namco Bandai Aren’t Publishing Half-Minute Hero 2 In Europe Either

By Ishaan . June 22, 2011 . 8:28am

Yesterday, we reported that Rising Star Games are not — contradictory to Amazon.co.uk’s product listing — publishing Half-Minute Hero 2 in Europe. Following that piece of news, the only other possible lead we had was Namco Bandai.

Unfortunately, Namco Bandai aren’t the game’s European publisher either. We got in touch with them to ask, and a Namco Bandai spokesperson let us know that they are not connected with Half-Minute Hero 2.

No other publisher has made any announcements regarding Half-Minute Hero 2 yet in either the U.S. or Europe. We’ll keep you updated as the situation develops.

  • I smell a conspiracy :O

  • Could it be Ghostlight?

  • i vote for Atlus

    • Hraesvelgr

Atlus doesn’t publish games in Europe, though.

yea it was koei that published  persona 3 and 4 in europe

      • It’s about time Atlus made an EU branch though.

        • Yes. Atlus, XSeed and Aksys. Tecmo Koei is nice enough to publish NIS’ works here.

          • XSEED is still small.  I don’t see them making an EU branch for at least a few more years.  Atlus has no excuse.

lol, I wish this would just keep going for like five more companies for our entertainment..

It’s almost like a mystery novel. Who could be the culprit??

  • Obviously its Ubisoft.

I vote there lying play.com has removed all the new listing they added on that day (Half Minute Hero 2, Super Robot Wars, Onechanbara 2, Saint Seiya etc) but they also removed the Soul Calibur 5 collector’s edition aswell.

I’m guessing like what happened with UBI Soft a few years ago Play.com has been naughty and added them before NBE was ready and NBE will slowly announce them at a later date.

    • Super Robot Wars?

      • landlock

        yeah on the 3DS.

Assuming it’s not Namco who’s left? Sony, Konami, Game Arts, 505 Games, Deep Silver? Anyone know if DHM is still around?

  • U SURE this time!? lol

  • kupomogli

Did anyone else think Namco Bandai would release something like this in any of the western locations?  Unless there’s the possibility of some major profit that’s one company I’d never think of to actually do something nice for the gaming industry.

Atleast with Bandai they actually released some games to the US before the merger, now we rarely see anything over here.

Maybe NIS will take care of localizing this; they’re into pixel stuff right now.
