Monster Hunter Portable 3rd Finally Going Up On Japanese PlayStation Network

By Ishaan . July 24, 2011 . 11:48pm

Up until now, the game’s only been available on UMD, but on July 28th, Capcom will put Monster Hunter Portable 3rd up as a PlayStation Network download in Japan. The digital version will cost 4,800 yen to download (around $61.00).

You’ll need a nice, large memory stick if you don’t want to have to wipe your other games clean — Portable 3rd will take up 1,095MB of space. In addition to that, it appears you’ll need another 20MB of free space as well.

Got so excited reading the title of this article. “Monster Hunter Portable 3rd Finally” *gasp* “Going Up On Japanese…. dammit…” :/ I WANT THIS GAME!

  • Stuck on the blue Corpica, calling scary guys.
Might play it again sometime soon.

  • Getting ready for the Vita, which hopefully will support PSP games and DLC at launch (Network purchased ones o’ course).

I wonder if you can have multiple accounts activated like a PS3, cause I have a US and JP account.

    • You know. I was wondering exactly the same thing. I was thinking on buying some psp games from the japanese store in digital format so I could play them on my ps vita. Considering the PS Vita has no need of a PS3 thanks to its 3g and integrated PS Store I’m pretty sure it will be the same as the PS3.

I don’t care. I want this on PSP in the West.

I’ve got a cool 32gb (rather, 29gb after formatting) sitting on my PSP (okay… 17gb once I loaded what I wanted on it) so I’m fine with just 1gb worth of space :) That said, I hope the Vita has some mammoth cards available for space…. I hate running out of space… and word has it there is no internal storage in the system itself.

  • Release it in the #^#@^# west

will wait for the HD Version :)
