The USA’s First Little Battlers eXperience Will Be The Anime Series

By Ishaan . August 1, 2011 . 5:31pm

Last week, we reported that Level 5 had filed a trademark for The Little Battlers eXperience in the U.S. The first Little Battlers product coming to North America isn’t the PSP game, however — it’s the anime series.

Anime News Network report that Dentsu Entertainment will be bringing The Little Battlers eXperience TV series to the U.S. The series began airing in Japan this past March. No timeframe for the series’ U.S. arrival has been announced yet.

Sweet. This looks like the start of a beautiful relationship.

I wonder if it will be televised? I’ve wanted to watch this since it started airing in Japan but nobody subbed it. I’m glad someone decided to bring it stateside. I still want the game more though!

The two series Dentsu has handled (Deltora Quest, and Monsuno) both have/will see TV broadcasts in the US. Releasing The Little Battlers eXperience as a DVD-only series would be pointless as the audience who needs to watch the show (little kids) won’t.

I doubt it wont be televised. A perfect fit for numerous television networks.

This is basically an indirect confirmation of the games, anyway. Now that I think about it, the anime came out first in Japan, too.

That’s because the game was delayed a half dozen times, haha.

Time to get new mecha game other than Gundam. I hope with this franchise going bigger, Bandai will be forced to make Gundam much better.

  • William Carpenter

Well, I guess the revolution really will be televised.

Never saw the anime… Someone did ? Inazuma Eleven is awesome by the way (IE GO is just “nice” for now).

    • Exkaiser

I watched the first six episodes. It’s pretty good- pretty much identical to the beginning of the game.

  • http://twitter.com/TheRyusui Ryusui

This is a bad sign for the game. I doubt it will come Stateside now.

Or Level-5 will use it to market the game.

Aye, he’s right. Inazuma Eleven is coming out in the UK to coincide with the airing of the TV show.

Inazuma Eleven got to Europe months before the TV Show and it was rare to get but ever since the Anime came on last month the Stores began selling the game.

It is very rare for a series like this to make it stateside on TV/DVD, due to the mass amounts of fansubs available online. I hope that doesn’t affect if the game comes here or not.

    • http://www.facebook.com/alwaysbored.andrade Jonathan Andrade

This is a kidomo series, there are 0 fansubs of this show in existence…

  • urbanscholar

hello medabots vibe, I like seeing you again.

AWESOME! I can’t wait to buy the DVDs / models/ game!

    Will europe get this aswell?
I remember something Similar to the Japanese Anime releasing earlier then the game in Japan for a few weeks

  • thebanditking

If this gets a blu-ray release then count me in, just keep 4Kids away from it. I wonder if they will televise the series over here to test interest in the game? I honestly think that Little Battlers and Final Fantasy Type 0 are going to end up as Vita ports, a TGS reveal would not surprise me.
