Pac-Man & Galaga Dimensions On 3DS Allows For Sava Data Erasing

Ever since the Internet discovered that Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D wouldn’t allow you to erase save data, people have been trying to figure out which other Nintendo 3DS games have locked save data as well. One of these was reported to be the recently released Pac-Man & Galaga Dimensions.

However, this week, Namco Bandai sent out word that Pac-Man & Galaga Dimensions’ save data can be erased. Saved data can be reset by holding the A, B, X, Y, L and R buttons when booting up the game from the 3DS system’s home screen.

Then put it in the manual, guys!  It’s nothing to be ashamed of!

I recall this method has been mentioned in other manuals. It’s in OoT 3D’s manual, plus I recall the same way of deleting stuff was available on DS games (it’s mentioned in the Hotel Dusk: Room 215 manual).

I don’t know if it’s in the manual for this game, but it seems someone should’ve at least tried the method that’s worked on other games.

  • Why is it so wrong to just have a “Delete Save Data” choice in an Options menu? It’s been okay up until now, hasn’t it?

meh. Clear game data cheat code. What works, works I guess… But honestly who looks that hard for a game not have a clear game feature? Its Pac-Man and Galaga for crying out loud! I would love to have a presave Hi-score I’d need to beat. Like an arcade on the go or something.
