Indie developer, Epifanica, are working on a game called The Light of the Darkness, a side-scrolling platformer with RPG aspects. The developers say it’s a game with retro appeal, but sophisticated visuals at the same time. They cite Castlevania, Muramasa, Actraiser and other titles as inspiration for the game. Epifanica currently have The Light of Darkness in a pre-alpha playable stage. The game is a project on crowdfunding site, Kickstarter.com, and needs support so it can be completed. If you’re interested in helping out, you can check the details out on its Kickstarter page.
