Electronic Arts showed the first in the what they say is a series of videos of Mass Effect 3 at their presentation at Gamescom 2011 in Cologne today. This first one is titled “Squad Leader”:

Mass Effect 3 is planned for release on March 6th in the U.S. and March 9th in Europe on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Looks pretty cool, but more importantly: Garrus is confirmed to be in the third installment? Woooo! :D

    • He never wanted to talk to me :( But nice to have him back and able to be in the party.

Unless you let him die in the second one :P

    • Of course Garrus is back, who would do all of those calibrations if he wasn’t?

hell yeah love the trailer :)

did i just heard a remix version of the suicide mission music??? O___Oit seems they improve the graphics greatly :)

oh pretty much everyone from ME2 will be returning.though im not sure if Samara(or Morinth if you chose her in ME2) as well as Kasumi will be appearing in ME3. but Bioware said everyone will have some sort of role in the finale. let’s just hope we can put Samara(or Morinth) and Kasumi as squad members.

Samara is one of my favorite squadmates ever along with Miranda, Garrus, Liara, Kasumi, and Thane.

damn i am soo hyped for this :D

will be getting the collectors N7 edition for sure :)

  • $80 is so worth it.

  • Preordered that edition as soon as it was available. That was a nice trailer. Where is my Miranda and Williams?

  • The classic edition will be more than enough for me ;)

  • Did Shepard just curve a bullet?
    And where’s my Tali?

Should have Move support imo. But then M$ would probably whine…

    • I don’t really see how Move support would do much for a game like this.

One coulda said the same thing about Heavy Rain, RE5 Gold, or SOCOM 4….

        • Heavy Rain I can understand. From the Move trailers that I saw and the type of gameplay that game had, I think it worked out pretty well.

As for RE5 Gold and SOCOM 4, how did Move work there? I didn’t hear anything good or bad either way (don’t have Move).

  • See Bioware didn’t have the guts to show Ashley…. I hope it means they’re finally listening to fans and giving her back her heavy armor and not that lame catsuit.
