Nintendo are adding four more Wii games to their “Nintendo Selects” line of budget games in North America. Super Paper Mario, Mario Strikers Charged, Punch-Out!! and Super Mario Galaxy will be joining the “Selects” line on August 28th.

Four other games — Animal Crossing: City Folk, Mario Super Sluggers, Wii Sports and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess — were announced as Selects titles back in May. Each of these budget re-releases costs $19.99.

  • Fire Emblem Radiant Where Art Thou? Should have been a select, I would pick it up.

    • Me too! I got it used, but I’d always prefer a new copy, even if it would have that tacky red outline.

I think Nintendo has given up on Fire Emblem in the West, and that makes me a very sad gamer indeed…

      • I could never find it new, I always thought it was out of print for years.

Fire emblem was a big chance and sadly it didn’t pay off as well as Nintendo would of liked. Hopefully we will still see some of the games in the future. Anyways Radiant Dawn was outta print for a long time and going for a rather expensive price but it was recently reprinted. It is still kind of hard to find but you might be able to see it at your local game retailers like GameStop. You just gotta look around. And if not you can snag it on Amazon for about $30 new now. Much better than the $60 or $70 asking price it was at before the recent reprints.

doubtful. Look at the list above; three out of the 4 games are Mario and the other is a well known household name classic.

    So Brawl is still $50?

  • Looks like I might have to buy Super Paper Mario!

  • I want to get Super Paper Mario, but I literally just recently lost my way to get things off of Amazon. Going to have to take note of when to get it sometime.

  • My Paper Mario got swindled by a cousin, so being able to replace that on the cheap is an awesome prospect, and I never got to give Punch-Out!! a go.  20 bucks means I might change that…

  • I’ll be picking up Mario Strikers Charged and Punch Out sometime in October.

  • I was disappointed in Super Paper Mario but may get it anyways because I like the story in Mario RPG games.

Punchout is another consideration, not a boxing fan but looks like fun with a better price.

  • About damn time Super Mario Galaxy got a price drop.  Took them what, 5 years?
