Very late reply but… Do you know how much animators are sometimes paid in Japan?
Some are nearly as low as 3$ an hour. Some would consider themselves lucky to be paid 5$ an hour.
Animators in Japan are paid dirt.

AIC is doing it I think? I’m curious how they’ll do since most of their other work was doing fanservice (with the exception of inbetweens for blood+), I wouldn’t say there is enough here to judge that just yet. Low quality trailer never helps.

Well seeing how the same artist who did the music for Persona 4 is doing it for anime, i don’t think you have to worry much and idk i like the animation

Ah, well I knew Meguro was doing the music, but I will admit, I love a majority of his work, but I don’t love everything he does. So far, I like the sound in general, but at the same time, I can’t bring myself to care for it. But maybe it’ll impress me when the anime starts or when a OST comes out.
The animation isn’t bad per se, but it’s just not feeling… Great. (Though tbh, even in the game, sometimes the animation didn’t flow with me.)

I really liked the cast from the game and I’d hope they could return for this, unlike the other subtitled only release from NIS. This is of course assuming and hoping that it comes to the US.

Probably because 3 had 2 game iterations making it have 3 games in all. Whereas Persona 4 has only had Persona 4. In other words, P3 has been done to death in some people’s eyes who wouldnt also want to give an anime a good chance; Persona 4 is more fresh/not overdone to a lot of people.
tl;dr its time for P4 to get some love.

Haha. Yeah, the only thing Trinity Soul had to do with P3 was Akihiko which was pretty epic at the time given that it wasn’t an actual P3 adaptation….which kinda knocked it back down again.

As long as they sortof change the story a bit to flow more like an anime and less like a monotonous intervention that never works, it could be good lol. “You must give in to your true self!” “No that’s not me! I won’t accept it.” “Well time to fight another crazed Persona.” *Battle ensues* “Ok, I’ve finally accepted my inner feelings!” Next day: “Here we go again, KANJI, YOU’RE GAY ACCEPT IT!” XD jk
