Kojima Productions Will Talk Metal Gear And Zone of the Enders Next Week

Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, Snake Eater 3D and Zone of the Enders HD Collection are both in development. Japanese blog, Game Jouhou, reports that Kojima Productions will be discussing both games at different stage shows next week.

 

The Metal Gear Solid show will be on September 15th, from 2 PM – 3 PM, where both upcoming Metal Gear games will be discussed.

 

Then, on the 17th, from 1 PM – 2 PM, they’ll discuss Zone of the Enders HD Collection. If we’re lucky, maybe we’ll also get to find out what “Z.O.E 3DS” is.

    Maybe we’ll finally gets some gameplay. I’m still upset that we have to wait till next year to get it, but at least its coming.

      I hope not. ZoE 3 is going to be on the 3DS? A game people wanted the 3rd game for the PS3 for god who knows how long?

          No, it doesnt because it still has piss poor battery life. If the system was actually worth it I wouldn’t be complaining about ZoE3 being on the 3DS.

            @leafhopper The 3DS isn’t bad, it’s my favorite handheld to date. It’s much better than the PSP in every way (including the battery life). Just because the battery life isn’t as good as the old DS it doesn’t make it a bad thing. Also, Zone of enders is practically confirmed for the 3DS. The pic kojima posted was pretty clear… It was ZOE and ZOE flipped spelling 3DS. (ZOE 3DS) It could be a coincidence, but the O was curved like a D so i doubt it.

    There’s two things I want from them

    1) Zoe HD remix and 3ds release dates (plus Zoe HD full Vita playability /compatability)

    2) Snake Eater 3d 2nd analog attachment support (for aiming), so I can buy this AND MGS HD remix (which is what made me decide not to buy SE3d. And why not with attachment support, they have it in their offices, mite as well use it). Better new would be it being bundled

    we definitely need a new ZOE3 or even a Xenosaga like game :)

    though the HD collection will keep us full till ZOE3 get’s announced :P

    cannot wait to see how it runs in 60FPS :P

    give us more Sci Fi Mech settings please :P

      Well if u tell me. i would just be happy as long they wanted to continue the series as it is still better compare to not having at all.(Well i have 3DS lol)

      But yeah i know the feeling when one game has been released on one system suddenly they move to other console. (Yeah i am talking to u Kingdom Hearts)

        If he wants to make a handheld Zone of the Enders, then I hope he explores the Vita.

        Backtouch to track and mark targets for homing attacks and actual camera control via integrated second analog…

        But yeah, release on console seems.. sadly unlikely… But hey, we can always hope.

          Why do you think this, if you mind me asking? The 360 and PS3 are getting the HD Collections so why wouldn’t they put ZOE 3 on 360 and PS3? The 3DS game could be an actual sequel to Fist of Mars. Hell, incoporate FoM and the 3DS game into ZOE 3 and maybe even the Idolo OVA and Dolores, i.

          You know I find just a few things more annoying than “Kojima-san doesn’t need to make Metal Gear anymore” stupidity in the whole internet. I mean, seriously, is this must be a funny suggestion for Kojima? No it is not, I assure you, it is not. Metal Gear franchise is one of the masterpiece series in the whole gaming universe and you and all people want to stop this at all? If you suggest that Kojima must make more original IPs, I can accept that idea but he can make original IPs alongside with Metal Gear titles. I mean, Zone of the Enders released before MGS2 and Zone of the Enders: Second Runner released before MGS3, so this proves that Kojima can bring us original titles while he make MG titles. Personally, I don’t want to stop him making MG titles actually, I’m looking forward for it. Hopefully Rising will turn out a decent game with the help of Mr. Kojima and also I’m begging for remakes of MG and MG2. Snatcher and Policenauts are two more original IPs that Kojima made. So why making new IPs will stop him making new MG titles? 

          KOJIMA-SAN NEEDS TO MAKE METAL GEAR AGAIN. And yeah, this is a protest comment.

          Oh, by the way, sometimes the big producers and directors in the video game business can suck with the other projects. For example; Shinji Mikami. He was such a brilliant mind when he is in Capcom, making Resident Evil franchise and Dino Crisis titles. And look what he is now… He making games that slightly over average. And Hironobu Sakaguchi. He was a great producer/writer/director when he is in Squaresoft, making Final Fantasy I-X, Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross and countless masterpieces. And look what he is now. He made Blue Dragon which was very average game and Lost Odyssey, a game begs for be a Final Fantasy. So, I don’t want to see Kojima-san in those places.

        I am not too pleased with my 3DS right now so my excitement level for new games for it is pretty low. That said I honestly don’t want to see ZOE3 on 3DS, I just don’t think the system is strong enough to pull off what most ZOE fans are looking for/expecting from a sequel.

    I would like to hear ZOE 3 is FINALLY coming; even though it would, admittedly, be quite underwhelming if it were announced for the 3DS. Would give me a reason not to trade the piece of sh*t in for a Vita, but whatever. I am really, really regretful of spending $250 on a handheld with nothing to play except for a few Dreamcast-looking ports of N64 games. Thank god it’s backwards compatible, so I can still play stuff like Radiant Historia – and later this month, Solatorobo – but still. What a pile of cr*p. Sheeesh.

    I’m really hoping Kojima tells us that they’re giving us a new Z.O.E. game for the PS3 cause I miss Jehuti, but either way I’m picking up Z.O.E. HD cause the games were badass.

    Let’s hope that if the ZOE 3DS was true, that it’s either a remake of the previous portable title or a spin-off. Save the true ZOE 3 for the PS3.

    ZOE 3DS is anything like Zone of the Enders: The Fist of Mars then bring it on. Best GBA game of all time in my opinion

    I am hoping that new ZOE info has something to do with ZOE3 on PS3 or Vita, I am going to be really disappointed if its just a ZOE remake/spin off for 3DS.

    I don’t care what platform, just give me another game really.  3D effects would make ZOE look fantastic in action just as I wouldn’t mind a Vita ZOE either.

    Huh. So Kojima IS working on Zone of the Enders… so we don’t have to say “Kojima-san doesn’t need to make Metal Gear anymore”? Or do we need to keep saying it until he makes a NEW ZOE game?
