The Nintendo DS Is Getting A New Super Sentai Game, Too

By Ishaan . September 11, 2011 . 12:00pm

Namco Bandai aren’t stopping with All Kamen Rider for the Nintendo DS; they’re also bringing a new Power Rangers (Super Sentai in Japan) to the system as well. While the Wii got Super Sentai Battle Ranger Cross, the DS is getting Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger: Collect Transformation! 35 Sentai!

The DS game is played using the stylus, and is slated for release on November 17th.

A big thanks to DrakosAmastras for the tip!

I definitely get a huge Power Rangers vibe from this. The reawakening of interest in that series has been tremendous on my local campus. Ive been shocked considering episodes of the series do not currently seem to air anywhere I thought.

Every Power Rangers series is on Netflix Instant Queue now so that’s probably where it came from.

Pardon my off-topic comment but I accidentally read the title as “The Nintendo DS Is Getting A New Super Hentai Game, Too”.

Lame joke, I guess I really need to eat and go to bed…

      please dont

Anyways, I was playing the Wii game the other day and it has two difficulty settings and even when I chose the higher one it was a bit easy. I know these DW type games are usually made to be easy but still..

Compared to both JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure PS2 beat em ups which are waaay harder than the DW or DW clone games. The first one almost came to the US too back in 2002…

Plus these two games are missing some of the older Sentai shows which were bit less ridiculous. Strange since it’s supposed to be a Sentai Anniversary title. Gaoranger, Dynaman, Goggle V, Battle Fever J anyone? Hell throw in Japanese Spider-Man too (he was the first Super Sentai to have a giant robot)

Hmm…..No thank you :) I will continue to if I so please, not that I do it often but when reminded of the show which I enjoyed as a young kid why not? Also why the review reply to my simply enjoying my memory o_O

Anyways, I wont be playing the game myself (waay too many I need to buy already) But someone out there will enjoy this and to them I say…
        Go go Power Rangers~
