God Eater 2 Will Feast On PSP [Update]

God Eater hasn’t had its fill of PSP owners yet. This week’s Famitsu magazine reports that God Eater 2 is in development for the system.

Update: More details are starting to trickle in. God Eater 2 takes place three years after the original. New weapons such as the Boost Hammer and Charge Spear will be in the game. Next up, take this bit with a grain of salt, but reports also mention that the game has a different visual style from the original God Eater. Apparently, it looks similar to Final Fantasy Type-0.

God Eater 2 will also feature something called the “Engagement System” and new Aragami, of course, will be part of the package. The game is slated for release in 2012.
