    Apparently Kaias is immortal. I bet Lightning’ll have to seal him away instead of killing him.

      Kaias huh… And I bet Yuru is Vanille herself. How can i watch the other trailer I wonder.

        Yeah. But if Yuru is Vanille, she has to be from the past. I knew they’d put her in it so Serah and her could team up in battle. But with Kaias I believe he works for the god who usurped Etro and wants to keep her dead where as Lightning wants to revive her.

          Yeah im all for head gear when it looks good but his face looked idiotic all togeather to me, now he looks decent .:) I hope they gave him a less “village idiot” personality as well hell I might end up lovin him lol

    Well, looks like I need to finish Final Fantasy XIII first. And I better hurry. Problem is playing XIII makes me super dizzy. I haven’t enjoyed a game like this in six months and I can’t play it.

    What a cruel world.

    Hope looks freakin’ awesome, and Snow looks SO much better without that dumb hat, but I don’t know if I’ll like Snow here, because I hated him in XIII. Everyone deserves a second try though (please don’t annoy me Snow….please -_-). By the way, is it me (because of my horrible memory), or does Snow’s new look remind me of another FF character? If it’s not me, then I can’t say…..it’s on the tip of my tongue…….

      he reminds me of some character form FF6, I don’t know why. He looks more ‘tribal’, seems he had a hard time searching for Serah, probably.

    New Hope is one of my favorite designs to come out of Final Fantasy in a long time.

    Aside from the gameplay possibilities that Time Travel opens up, somehow I am just so much more interested in the characters now, when I kind of had to force myself to care about them in XIII.  But now, I am really interested to visit their pasts, or see how they turn out in the future.

    Snow itself……… looks not really different but i will try to love him as i love Hope maybe.

    I knew Hope is going to look cool from just a very brief view of him in the older trailers. But his outfit makes me worry a bit.

            I was quite sure HopeLight was confirmed in the first game though.

            I hear it’s a popular pairing, but I only saw Lightning as a tough mentor to replace Hope’s mom. If it was confirmed in the first game I’d be hearing and reading all about it. Instead I see wishful thinking and people reading too much into their dynamic all over public forums.

            I like the pairing, but ew if it was actually confirmed in the first game. Were we playing the differend FF13s or what?

            Shota and loli is freaky as all hell. Mind you, Older!Hope solves the problem, but… eh, if it doesn’t have romance I won’t be shedding any tears. It’s fun to think about, but Squeenix’s delivery on these matters has often left much to be desired.

      Hope don`t have a chance in hell with Lightning. First off the age gap… secondly she acted like a mother or older sibling to him in FF13. 

      Snow would have a shot but he loved Serah.

      PS: Hope isn`t hardcore enough for Lightning either.

        Tidus was an awesome lead character. Of course Light is gunna be better seeing as its 8 years(10 now) after the FFX game.

    Why is so much of these comment about Snow and Hope. What about KAIAS! His name is said in the trailer, something people have wanted for months! You guys don’t want to talk about a villain who’s already being said to be immortal?!

    Something tells me that the monster recruitment system is going to play into the story in some way.

    One obvious way would be guest party members. Has an actual party been confirmed yet? Because it’s looking more and more that we JUST have Serah and Noel, and guest party members/monsters will be filling in the gap. If that’s the case it’d be a real shame because Hope is looking AWESOME, and I totally want to see how he fares long-term.

    Optimally, the monsters will actually be a ‘fourth’ party member, and late game we can fill that gap with something awesome like Eidolons. Maybe, as Serah and Noel rise in relative strength, the old party members can join somewhere down the line so we have a more traditional party like in the first game, but also so they don’t seem nerfed? We’ll see.

    This is why I dislike direct sequels, especially when it comes to the numbered Final Fantasy titles. They ruined Final Fantasy X and now S-E is doing it again:(
