Chrono Trigger To Travel To U.S. PlayStation Network Next Week

Don’t worry, it isn’t a false alarm this time. Chrono Trigger is headed to the PlayStation Network next Tuesday (October 4th) as a PS One Classic.

The game was released in Japan’s Game Archives this past week, so there isn’t much of a gap between the U.S. and Japanese releases at all.

So far there’s been no further word on when we’ll see Final Fantasy VI, which was the other victim of the false alarm update last week.

Better late than never since games like Xenogears and Chrono Cross were never released in Europe. Its the only choice Europeans have to playing it legally.

Not trying to flame but, why this is making news everywhere. This is by far the most crappy port for a masterpiece. This PS1 version has terrible loadtimes(and doubt PSN release will fix it, since it almost read at the same speed from the real PS1 hardware).

The DS version is really good. I bet we can call this “milking.” Chrono Trigger has been time travelling to various hardware this past few years.

i cant remember how many times i play chrono trigger since day 1 but anyways since the ps1 version, i have work on it like crazy for mulitple endings but anyways i really love that fan made sequel. Eternal flames. they should put that on psn instead lol

With the import feature we’re getting soon, it just might happen. Although I’m more excited for Chrono Cross, since I already bought the DS version for this wonderful game.
Everyone should play it, it’s amazing.

great now that chrono trigger is coming all I need is chrono cross since I missed my chance playing that game when it came out! Legend of Dragoon would be nice too though.
