By Ishaan . September 29, 2011 . 10:46pm

Nintendo of America have posted an official translation of Miyamoto’s The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword presentation at Nintendo’s 3DS conference, which took place the week of Tokyo Game Show. You can watch the subtitled video below, which Zelda Informer managed to get their hands on:

As previously reported, Miyamoto mentions that the game will have over 100 minutes of cinematics, and that actual playtime itself will range from 50 – 100 hours.

This demonstration video has me even more interested in this game. But sadly there are too many games that must come before this purchase. Sorry gold wii-mote. You are very tempting.

I just went from zero anticipation to immense hype in 8 minutes and 53 seconds.

Actually, it’s getting really surprising how LITTLE hype this game has!

      I wonder why?

      • vrakanox

It’s been number one on my list for a loooong time.

Probably because Zelda is a game that traditionally has been for hardcore audiences, and hardcore audiences generally loathe the HD-less Wii and its motion control. Plus they probably think the art style is a step down.

In my opinion, this is probably going to end up like Windwaker: a great game, but severely under-appreciated. I feel sorry for Miyamoto already.

    i always respected Shigeru Miyamoto.

his ideas are just amazing and really creative.

i just wish he creates more IP’s like Pikmin.

might pick this up, still haven’t finished Twilight Princess :

I wasn’t really anticipating this game due to the fact of a lot of HD games on other consoles but now I’m really looking forward to it. Looks really promising and fun. Most of what other games are missing nowadays. When is this game’s release date? I should get the premium if it ever came out. Thank you!

      November 20th IIRC.

        Thanks!

I didn’t like the art style but it has really grown on me recently, and the TP art style is returning in the Wii U title anyway haha. I wont leave my house for days when this is released.

I god the gameplay, the gameplay looks AWESOME! Controlling your sword and items with the Wii Remote without using the buttons sounds much more natural and makes you feel a part of the world even more!

It would be 10x cooler if the game came with a Master Sword shape or style Wii Remote.

Day One, baby! I’m SO getting this! ^_^

Oh, so that’s what the game would have looked like if the Wii had been an HD console.

  • Jeebs

Dual clawshots were definitely the best items in TP. So glad they’re back. They made me feel like a boss!
