Sega are teasing a new game. There’s no teaser site for it yet; only this image that they posted to their Facebook page:

The text reads: “The closure of that story is only the beginning of a new one.”

“The shadow remains cast”? It looks a little horror-ish with the red fading into black, but maybe that’s just me and it’s just supposed to look mysterious.

The red and black makes me sit here and cross my fingers hoping for Bayonetta 2. It does kind of fit with the whole “closure of the story is the beginning of a new one” but maybe I’m just being too positive.

My vote is Yakuza because now Kiryu is now head of the Tojo clan. They can now do with a new protagonist.

Kazuma Kiryu never became head of the Tojo clan again. At the end of Yakuza 4 he stayed to help Daigo for a while but after that he went back to his orphanage.

Interesting update. :/a Emphasis of those words means yet another possible clue?
People on Facebook are saying they carry the same characters as “Kazuma”.

Hmm Such cryptic-ness Sega DX To me it seems so with it being the same quote but having those two kanji highlighted makes it feel like another clue unto itself.
Kazuma huh? My kanji knowledge is still in its early stages so I only know that as a name… Maybe a lead character?

Published by Sega, like all the other games Platinum has made so far (including Infinite Space and Anarchy Reigns).
Does seem like Platinum would be the ones to announce it if it really was Bayonetta 2, of course, but I CHOOSE TO BELIEVE WHAT I WAS PROGRAMMED TO BELIEVE.
