Phantasy Star Online 2 has been delayed into next year in Japan while the development team adjusts the game based on user feedback from a recent alpha test. In the meantime, here are many, many screenshots of the game, showing off a variety of areas, enemies and characters:

Oh dear Lord, I want this game badly. I just know I’m going to be spending at least an hour on the character customization screen alone.
Also: one of the girls under the “characters” screenshots totally looks like shes wearing a Gallian uniform from Valkyria Chronicles, the one with the red berret. Awesome! XD

Its not the first time Phantasy star and Valkyria had crossovers. PS:p2 had various items from different franchises, the edelweiss as a room dec. and VC2 had Emilia as a secret Character…
though I think it just happens to be a coincidence that that armor looks like a gallian uniform, unless Gallia still exist in this game’s Universe.

They have said they can add new races whenever they feel like it, so just because Beasts aren’t in the alpha, doesn’t mean they won’t appear in the future. Although I doubt Dumans from Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity will make an appearance…

Wow! This looks beautiful! They really need to make port this to Xbox 360/PS3 as well. I have very slow connection speed when it comes to playing MMORPGs on the computer.

more than likely they’ll make a portable version. This game would probably stomp all over MonHun (outside of Japan, anyway)

I doubt that, since Phantasy Star Portable is already its own sub-series apart from PSO. I don’t see them stopping that to put an MMO on a portable rather than on home consoles where Phantasy Star hasn’t been seen since PSU in ’06.
