Link Takes On A Multi-Armed Trap In Zelda: Skyward Sword’s Ancient Cistern

Nintendo have updated the official Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword website in Japan with new videos of two more areas from the game. Below, you can watch footage of Lake Floria and the Ancient Cistern:

Lake Floria:

Ancient Cistern:

The golden statue in the Ancient Cistern is an ancient weapon meant to keep intruders out. The Cistern video also shows Link using his whip. It looks like you’ll be able to use it to swing across gaps and activate switches from a distance, just like in The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks.

    it will be glorious

    Whoa. I have a feeling I’m going to like performing that dolphin jump.

    And the lilypads, poison water, and gel monsters… reminds me VERY much of Woodfall Temple from Majora’s Mask.  It’s like a Buddhist Water Temple.

      It did look and feel a bit like Woodfall, huh? So I guess this temple and some other aspects are borrowing from MM? I don’t mind that at all. Matter-of-fact, more please~?

    Wow. ♥
    Both are lovely, and quite intriguing. I also love this music. The wait for SS is so hard. ;u;
