How To Breed Chocobos In Final Fantasy Type-0

Recommended Videos

Over the weekend, we reported that Chocobo breeding makes a return in Final Fantasy Type-0. Today, we have our first glimpse of this feature, via a few screenshots. Chocobo breeding takes place at a Chocobo Farm, which you can see above.

Chocobos can be caught on Final Fantasy Type-0’s world map. You can catch both male and female Chocobos of different breeds. While you can ride wild Chocobos, they run away if you leave them alone. Looks like Rem has quite the chase on her hands.

Once you’ve caught yourselves some Chocobos to breed, you take them to the farm and talk with the person in charge to breed them.

The above is a screenshots of the breeding confirmation screen. It shows the two Chocobos you’re going to breed (no Dittos involved), the vegetable you’ve chosen to include in the process, and what the outcome of the breeding constituents will be.

Once the Chocobos have had their fun together, you get an egg. Then, you have to wait for it to hatch.
