Balloon Kid And Zelda 25th Anniversary Medley Float To Nintendo eShop

Recommended Videos

Last month, Japan got another Game Boy Color game on the 3DS Virtual Console — Balloon Fight GB. Unfortunately, that game was a Japan exclusive back when it was originally released, so we likely won’t be seeing it on the U.S. or European eShop.

Instead, this week’s Virtual Console game on 3DS in the U.S. is Balloon Kid, which is a Game Boy follow-up to the original Balloon Fight on the NES.

The Japan-only Balloon Fight GB was a GBC remake of this game. It’s out this week for $2.99. The original NES Balloon Fight was also given away to early 3DS buyers as part of Nintendo’s 3DS Ambassador Program.

Food for thought:

Unrelated to Balloon Fight, but one of the videos on the Nintendo Video service this week is a The Legend of Zelda Main Theme Medley performed at the 25th anniversary Zelda concerts.
