The Original Mushihimesama Is Next On Cave’s List Of iPhone Ports

Last year, Cave released an original game on the iPhone, Mushihimesama Bug Panic. While it based on Cave’s Mushihimesama series of shooters, Bug Panic was a mix of Zelda and bullet hell, and not a shoot-em-up. Today, however, Cave have announced that the original Mushihimesama itself is being ported to the iPhone as well.

In order to make the game’s title easier to pronounce (and fit on the iPhone home screen), Cave are calling the game Bug Princess. Cave haven’t announced a release date for Bug Princess, but say that the iPhone version isn’t too far off.

Something to note is that, while the Bug Princess trailer mentions Mushihimesama Futari as well, that game hasn’t been announced for an iOS release at this time.
