Nimble Sakura Warrior Speeds To America In January As “Sakura Samurai”

Recommended Videos

One of the many games we’ve covered on the Nintendo eShop in Japan is Nimble Sakura Warrior, released last week. This game is headed to the U.S. in January — Nintendo of America announced it as Sakura Samurai: Art of the Sword.

In Sakura Samurai, you play as a young warrior out to save a princess from the enemy’s castle. There isn’t a Goomba in sight, though; Sakura Samurai is set in medieval Japan. You watch for enemies to attack, block their sword, then attack with your own. A town allows you to stock up on items, upgrade your sword, and earn money.

Sakura Samurai: Art of the Sword doesn’t have a concrete release date that has been announced yet, or a price; just that it’s coming in January. You can read more about it here.
