New Fate/Zero Figure Mounts Saber On Her Famous Bike

Good Smile Company have released a new Fate/Zero Saber figure, featuring Saber on the her famous motorcycle. Ami Ami have the figure up for pre-order now. See more pictures of it below.

Today also marks the last episode of Fate/Zero on Nico Nico Douga. I believe season 2 is scheduled to air sometime in April. What do you think of the series so far?

As for the series, it’s great! It brings out the best out of the Novels and I’m happy to see they know what they are doing. I’m kinda afraid that they won’t use any of the few awesome tracks from the soundtrack for the Novel, but other than that it’s amazing. Apparently the latest episode ended in a massive cliffhanger, have yet to watch it but it would totally fit with the novels, lol!

I’ve always wanted to conquer the world and make it a better place by force since it’d take far too many centuries for humankind to evolve mentally, emotionally and spiritually to willingly do what is good for themselves.
Sure it goes a bit against the whole freedom of will thing, but at least one or two generations into a utopic world enforced in good will that brings nothing but positives to the entire world and is built and then reinforced to continue existing and surviving without the requirement of a lone leading figure would certainly lead to a better future then whatever future we’ll have in the next 50 years considering the way we’re going here…
That and I’ll be able to send funding to more interesting games rather then the mainstream market profit fodder.

Darn why couldnt it be Rider and Waver on that Chariot, that would have been epic.
I thought the series devolved to too much discussion later on but I found it slow but intriguing, lovely Ryuunosuke and Waver development last episode. My two favorite masters. Favorite servent would be Gilgamesh and Rider. Gilgaesh always had the best lines. I hope Ryuunosuke gets more screentime.

What do I feel about fate/zero? I feel psyched! Extreeeeeeeeme. The series is just so good and Ufotable does it justice with such pretty frames. Her price on amiami’s a bit more tolerable compared to the 13k yen RRP for a 1/8 *coughs blood*. I’m sorry Fate/Stay Night Archer, Gilgamesh, Fate/Zero Rider, and Fate/Stay Night Lancer (the most badass servants), but this Saber (Fate/Stay Night and Zero) is now crowned the badass king (just in case to some people I use queen too. :3) just because of this amazing figure……but she’ll never be crowned the badass goddess (or god. Freakin’ Saber confusing me with her historic name and gender), because unfortunately for her that title has been taken by the lovely Fate/Extra Caster!!! X3

You do have a point…..but I wouldn’t call them a joke character at all, because how their role is played is sad, since they usually have awful masters. One: They die way too quickly, and they’re much more powerful than presented. Two: They have some of the worst deaths. Remember the movie Fate/ UBW? Lancer’s death was freakin’ sad. If you read Fate/Hollow Ataraxia, then I suppose he’s more of a joke character, but his deaths are just heart aching (such as him dieing with Bazett)…..I don’t think Fate/Zero’s Lancer is going to be any better…….
I call Lancer badass based on what he knows between right and wrong and his attitude. This includes the Fate/Zero one too.

Gotta admit, the first 13 episodes are rather slow paced and almost nothing happens. Because Rider unleashed Ionion Hetairoi while pretty much riping off the “Can you keep up with me” scene of HF I actually say its decent.
Can’t wait for HIGHWAY TO THE DANGER ZONE on April, hell yeah!

UFOtable is really cool and I’m loving Fate/Zero so far, but honestly, I’ve already read the light novel and I think it was better. There are just certain issues transferring books to a medium which makes showing characters’ thoughts difficult, and I have a couple issues with how they’re doing the fight scenes since I imagined them to be much more realistic than how flashy they are doing it (but thankfully it’s nowhere near as retarded as the studio DEEN bullshit). There will never be a perfect Nasuverse adaptation, but I will say UFOtable will get the closest out of anyone and I hope that Type MOON decides to stick with them from now on (and they almost definitely will after this and KnK). It’s also probably helpful for UFOtable that the characters’ thoughts matter way less than they did in Fate/Stay Night (the vn).

While I haven’t read the novels myself, I have to agree that Fate/Zero’s anime has a lot of very awkward moments that sound they just came out from a novel but don’t really work on an audiovisual medium. Like the random thought exposition some characters do for no reason and the pretty weirdly directed battle scenes. I still love it though <3

Amiami and Hobbylink Japan are both reliable places to purchase figures with them not being fake.
In general just stay clear of ebay sellers from Asian countries that aren’t Japan. Or stay clear of Ebay in general.

What do I think about Fate/Zero so far, you wonder? Even with all the stuff I’m looking forward this winter and knowing what happens afterwards in the light novel, it’s going to be excruciating waiting for April. But that’s okay because Fate/Zero already earned a spot in my list of favorite anime of 2011, along with still airing Chihayafuru and also recently finished Tamayura ~hitotose~, Mawaru Penguindrum and THE iDOLM@STER (yep, I’m totally serious about iM@S being one of my favorites!).

Wow, this looks amazing! I will need to see production shots first as this is clearly pre-production/first sculpt to check out the quality, but this would look awesome next to my Kotobukiya Cloud on Hardy Daytona and Metroid Prime Phazon Suit Samus from First 4 Figures.
