Resident Evil: Revelations, Theatrhythm And Snake Eater 3D Get Downloadble Demos In Japan

While we’ve yet to see demos on the Nintendo eShop in the U.S. or Europe, Japan’s getting a whole lot of them. Recently, Capcom released a demo for Monster Hunter 3G and Tecmo Koei released one for Dead or Alive: Dimensions.

Today, more demos will be going up. The Nintendo eShop in Japan will have demos for Resident Evil: Revelations, Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D, Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy and Rhythm Thief and the Emperor’s Treasure.

If only I could switch regions and play the Theatrhythm and Rhythm Thief demos! Lucky JPN!

  • OneOkami

I really want to try out Theatrhythm.  Something about just feels like I’d have a blast with it.

How come japan get the good stuff.

    • Gatchaman1

      Because Godzilla lives there

  • Zetsomaru

This very much upsets me. Why on earth couldn’t we get the DOA demo at least? That’s out here, right? Right?!

    • DemonicX

Same thing I would like to know..

  • aoihana

This just made my day! I’m planning on buying all these, so a demo is perfect! Can’t wait to try these out! (◕‿◕✿)

      Lucky you… >:/

I’m not sure about these games, so demos are definitely helpful for me to decide..I think I would get the FF music game most likely.. it’s great they’re letting us try before we buy (I don’t have time to go to a store to demo).  I still haven’t played the Puyo Puyo or Crayon Shin-chan demo yet, Mario 3D Land and MK7 keeping me busy… would be even better if they don’t limit the times you could play the demo :)

New Love Plus’s demo is up too I think :)!! These demos are huge.. gotta delete videos to make room, wish I have a bigger SD card..

      • aoihana

Yeah, it’s definitely great! I actually wasn’t expecting the New Love Plus demo, so I was very excited! It looks amazing!

Wow I hope we start getting demos SOON. I really hope we do and if we do I want a demo of Tales Of The Abyss I wonder if that will make the game sales any better. At least the game will get some well needed RECOGNITION which all demos help do to games.

I’m really happy I was able to get my copy in Europe, and the only thing I can tell the USbros who want this game is: pre-order it.

The game is selling for more and more and more on ebay.co.uk, it’s insanely rare for some reason.

      • darkfox1

Yeah I heard that they didn’t ship a lot of copies and they flew off shelves now being really rare to find in retailers. Wow EU must have really been missing Tales games as they don’t have that many released there. And I thought Namco was doing NA wrong.

What can I saw, we’re hungry for tales games :P Wasn’t my 3DS charging up right now I’d play some moar, talking about it makes me want to play lol

    What about Europe?

    • http://twitter.com/FaithlessMr Bruno Silva

Nintendo of Europe is cool :P This has to do with the publishers more than with Nintendo but…I truly believe we’ll get these (or some of these) demos eventually.

Okay, that’s not fair even though I’m getting both for sure. Give US/Canada & Europe some love too Nintendo.

  • Zonic505

So hoping all of the new demos are coming to the US. I really wanna try Rhythm Thief & Theatrhythm: FF.

  • manobon

Hey- do you think the demos are compatible with the Circle Pad Pro? IF SO! Then maybe they won’t be released in the West until the pad’s released in those markets?

And, finalmente- does anyone know if the Japanese Pad is compatible with Eur/US 3DS-es?
