Once Upon A Time, Hideo Kojima Was A Teenager, Too

By Ishaan . December 28, 2011 . 11:29am

From Kojima’s twitter feed, an old photo he found while sorting out his desk:

While he looks pretty thin in that old photo, Kojima did grow a few muscles over the years. This is a picture he posted to the Kojima Productions blog in 2009:

I doubt he’s petty enough to post someone else’s bicep and claim it was him. :P

As much as I´m interested in the evolution of Kojima´s biceps: what´s the point of this? xD

Dear god, the current Kojima reminds me of my somewhat neet friend.

Muscles huh? I knew it. In his younger days Kojima got all the experience he needs to do videogames in real-frigging-life, saving Tokyo as a Kamen Rider, as all real video game developers should do. Why we have so much weak games and shooters in the market? Cuz people ain’t learning the way of the streets. Good for us to have Siliconera reminding us of people who did that…

*I really shouldn’t type so sleepy I’m having trouble to discern ideal and real now*

Aww! Look at him, showing off his muscles.

even top video game designers had pasts. I’d love to see a documentary chronicling the lives of some of the them, like kojima, miyamoto etc.

Come on, we praise these guys constantly and they were doing their thing in their lives like us. It’s amazing to just see him from back then and now.
