Gabrielles Monster Match Grooves To The Beat Of A Puzzle Game

After Gabrielle’s Ghostly Groove on Nintendo 3DS and WiiWare, it looks like Gabrielle could be a new brand for Natsume. This morning, they announced Gabrielle’s Monster Match for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.

Gabrielle’s Monster Match is a puzzle game featuring characters from Ghostly Groove. You start out with a partially filled grid, and move similar pieces together to create a row of four or more. Creating a row clears those pieces from the board. Each round, new pieces are added to the board and special “spooky pieces” can help you clear the board faster if you use them efficiently.

Gabrielle’s Monster Match is interesting because it’s free to download. While the base game doesn’t cost anything, Natsume are offering additional features like more quests for $0.99. The game is available on iTunes now.

That’s pretty awesome! I hope it really does develop into a brand! Although I haven’t played any of the games, they definitely look fun and have such awesome designs. I should really pick up Ghostly Groove sometime!  (ノ>▽<。)ノ

Paying for the additional quests and such is reasonable, especially at $0.99

All I need now is an iOS device, and I’m set!  (^v^)

They should consider Gabrielle’s Monster Cooking next, that’d be an awesome game! Being a monster chef! Brain Cake! (*^ワ^*)

The Wiiware one was short, but it was a lot of fun. And I like what little customization they managed to fit in too (there are a lot of cute designs~!).

Lol, the cooking idea would be a ton of fun.

It’s a fun game (3DS) but MUCH too talky.  Play board, talk talk talk talk talk play talk talk. Rinse and repeat.

At least, it’s one that you don’t have to pay.

Now release it on the 3ds estore

I wanted to pick up the 3DS game, but it seems kind of pricey at $40.  I’d definitely buy it if I could get it on sale somewhere.

Well you have no reason not to pick it up on the 3DS now. It is only $19.99 at Gamestop. Scratch that…just went to verify the price and it is only $14.99! Go get it! :)

      • Muddied_Waters

Really?  Now that’s a price I can definitely get behind.  Thanks for the heads up!

Awesome, downloading now! And I just saw that Gabrielle’s Ghastly Groove for the 3DS is only $14.99 new at Gamestop (down from $19.99, down from $39.99). So if you haven’t already bought it, do yourself a favor and go get it!

I’m going to have to give this a go. I love puzzle games and it’s free. I can’t go wrong with that~ :D
