Shining Hearts Anime Adaptation To Air In April

Anime studio, Production I.G., are working on an anime adaptation of Sega’s Shining Hearts role-playing game. The Shining Hearts: Bread of Happiness anime series is scheduled to air in Japan this April.

 

The anime will feature most of the cast from the original role-playing game reprising their roles as their respective characters, with the exception of the three sisters. While Kanae Itou voices them all in the game, the anime will use a separate voice actor for each one.

    Hmm…sounds good but the title “Bread of Happiness” sounds a little off. 
    Buuut… that’s just me.

      It’s a little bit off because it’s supposed to be Pan(tsu) of Happiness. （*＾ワ＾*）

         Definitely something lost in translation.

          The game is literally about baking bread that is filled with emotions like happiness, or sadness, or…anger. Rather than being lost in translation, it’s more just charmingly bizarre in the first place.

        Then again “Bread of Happiness” sounds alright. Actually, I don’t know what to say honestly…

      What I believe it is is a metaphor for how happiness takes time to make like a good loaf of bread lol.

    I’ve never played Shining Hearts, or anything with Tony Taka’s designs, but I’m a fan of his work! As such, I look forward to this anime! (◕‿◕✿)

    Ah… Shining Hearts… it seems like I’ll never forget you. Somewhere that name is always mentioned as a reminder that it’s been too long since I played another game with Tony’s art.

    But yeah, I’m looking forward to the anime. Hope that it’s even better then Shining Tears X Wind. ^^

      You cant rather an anime of a game that isnt out yet! so no whining! wish shining blade to sell as much as shining hearts so it can get an anime too!

      There is an anime for shining blade coming out as well.  Wouldn’t kill u people to do a little more research on your own would it?

      Better because it has an strong plot but Hearts had it too…yet the most important thing was that you (player) can truly enjoy the plot by doing quest with characters that you like and then at the end you choose your favourite character and get her/his ending. This is boring if you watch it as an anime show by seeing fixed things/routes with the obvious ones.

      Blade may have more plot but I still think that the bonds with the party and sidequest will get you unique events that are the key to fully enjoy the plot as it is.

    Oh god, they are gonna make an anime in a medieval fantasy setting that just is about making bread to increase the friendship and bond with others characters. Look slice.

      Well it’s a news site, they report the news dude. lol And remember what applies to you doesn’t necessarily apply for everyone even if you do find yourself in a majority. Anyways there are plenty of import players out there, and a fair share of commentators here import.

      But in the end of the day it’s just news being posted on a news site, dude. Don’t get so worked up over it. lol That’s just silly.

    Hoping it has the theme song in the anime, Kokoro ni Todoku Uta (I forgot how Type-B sounds, but I don’t remember it being too different from Type-A, which I do remember rather well). I liked the soundtrack overall as well, especially it being all of Hiroki Kikuta.

    Production IG? Must watch, they never made a bad anime, even if I dont know the source this is on my list to watch…though Accel World/Phi Brain 2 is my most anticipated for the spring.

    We’ve been surprised by two great game to anime adaptation as of late, but considering the last Shining anime adaptation (Shining Wind X blabla?), I’m not hoping much.

    Make it Kanae Itou for all 3 heroines and then I’ll watch it and buy the BD when it releases. If she isn’t reprising her roles in the anime then forget it.
