Catherine Or Katherine: Which Would You Rather Date?

Back in December, Catherine’s European publisher, Deep Silver, held a vote to see whether players would be more interested in a relationship with the seductive Catherine or the older, more mature Katherine. This week, the announced the results:

Katherine won the vote by a rather wide margin, with 59% of the votes. If you live in Europe, Catherine is out now for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

    Katherine for sure, while Catherine would be considered the more “attractive” one but she clearly has psychopath tendencies and is the more likely of the two to cheat on you. Where I am at now I would want the more stable level headed woman with her mind on building a family together.

    I think next time, Atlus needs to give us choices besides traditional yandere/tsundere, like deredere.
    That way, if she happens to be sad, I can pat her back and make a dumb joke about her “deredere” personality.

      YES!  This is the reason why in anime, I prefer oldschool shows, because of the whole tsundere/yandere false dichotomy with the current batch.

      Back on topic, I’d have to say Katherine, since Catherine with a C is not the type of girl you want to introduce to your parents.

    I think the identity of Catherine’s father is more than enough reason for me to choose Katherine

    Katherine.  Honestly, she’s more likely to put effort into the relationship.  If at all possible, I’d consider Catherine as a friend.

    I’d definitely go with Katherine if I chose between the two.  If anything due to obligations based on an event that happens in the game.  There’s no way I could leave her, even if I wanted to do so.  I also prefer brunettes with long hair.  Katherine is more down to earth and realistic, as well.

    Though, I’m actually not into either girl personality wise, for various reasons.  Having beaten the game last year, it seemed to me that they both have some very unlikeable personalities when they are angry.   Catherine is completely crazy and probably would cheat on me, and Katherine is obsessed with work and doesn’t seem very motherly.  There’s a lot more about both I could say, but it would involve spoilers from the game.
