How Kid Icarus: Uprising Ties Into Kid Icarus On NES

Nintendo have released a new trailer for Kid Icarus: Uprising that shows one of the links between the new game and the original Kid Icarus for the NES. Take a look at it below:

 

 

In the original Kid Icarus, Pit’s mission was to find the three sacred treasures – the Mirror Shield, the Light Arrows, and the Wings of Pegasus — in order to rescue Palutena and defeat Medusa. It looks like Pit will have use for them again in Uprising.
