Introducing The Open Thread – Siliconera’s Free For All Discussion Board

Recommended Videos

In case you happened to miss it, earlier in the week, we put up a Valentine’s Day community feature, where we asked readers to introduce themselves to each other and share who their favourite Siliconera readers were.

That post took off with a bigger rocket start than Rune Factory 4 pre-orders (OK, maybe not), and we noticed that our readers occasionally like to talk to each other about things that aren’t necessarily related to posts on the website or even about games. Small talk is the bread and butter of any community, so we’ve put up a “bulletin board” of sorts that will let our readers talk to each other whenever they want.

Introducing the Open Thread! (click here to go to it!)

You can find a link to the Open Thread in the menu bar and it uses your existing Disqus accounts (or whatever account you use to post to Disqus), so you won’t have to sign up for new another account.

Hopefully, this makes it easier for readers to communicate with each other, get to know other readers better, and organize their own little events (like Mario Kart community races, for example).

Siliconera is supported by our audience. When you purchase through links on our site, we may earn a small affiliate commission. Learn more
