“Hundreds” Of Kid Icarus: Uprising AR Cards To Be Available

Each copy of Kid Icarus: Uprising only comes with six random augmented reality cards, but Nintendo say that there will actually be “hundreds” of these cards available. AR cards don’t serve a purpose in the main game itself, but two cards can be placed next to each other to watch an AR character battle in the AR Card Battle mode. No other plans have been announced regarding the distribution of Uprising AR cards, but Nintendo plan to hold special events where you can trade, share and acquire new cards. Kid Icarus: Uprising is scheduled to release simultaneously on March 23rd in North America and Europe.
