Trine 2 Expansion Pack In Development, Includes New Stages And Skills

Recommended Videos

Trine 2 is getting a full expansion pack, Frozenbyte announced today. While the expansion doesn’t have an official name yet, Frozenbyte say that it will consist of six new stages with new enemies and skills. Even better, the new skills will be available for use in the original campaign once you pick up the expansion.

The expansion will also include a “hardcore” mode and bonus menu options. The reason for releasing a full expansion rather than simply DLC levels, Frozenbyte say, is because of the negative connotations associated with DLC nowadays.

The video above gives a glimpse of some of the new areas in the Trine 2 expansion. A release date and price haven’t been announced yet, but we’ll keep you posted.
