Ragnarok Odyssey Gets Online Multiplayer Via An Update Next Week

During Sony’s recent “Game Heaven” presentation for the Vita, GungHo announced that they would be adding online multiplayer and new maps to Ragnarok Odyssey via downloadable updates for the game. The first of these updates will be released on March 26th.

Titled “Expansion1:Online MultiPlay UpDate,” the update on the 26th will allow you to play the game cooperatively online with other players, and will allow you to receive items from other players via the Vita’s “Near” feature. Game Arts have also made balance changes to the game, and are also adding the ability to take screenshots.

“Expansion2” for Ragnarok Odyssey is coming soon, GungHo say. It looks like there will be a third expansion, too, judging by the empty slot on the Expansion site.
