Sorry, There Isn’t Much Nanosuit Footage In This Crysis 3 Trailer

This morning, Electronic Arts and Crytek released the first trailer for Crysis 3, which isn’t due out for another year. Surprisingly, the trailer doesn’t show off any Nanosuit functions or give off the same “superhero” vibe that the first two Crysis games did—it’s just returning character, Prophet, gunning things down:

Perhaps precisely because we’re so far from launch, Crytek or EA aren’t willing to divulge more information at present, but it’s still a little odd that the trailer doesn’t even touch upon the series’ defining feature.

 

Crysis 3 will be released in spring 2013 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
