‘sees the usage of the word damn and massive cleavage’

     “All Ages Title”

    Seems legit.

    •  In this case, “All Ages” means “Not a hentai game”.

    • What’s wrong with the word “damn”?  Or is this suddenly not 2012 and that word is somehow a curse to some people still?

      • ShadowWolf

its still a curse to some people still.

        why would you assume otherwise?

        • Because it is so commonly said, and I’ve not seen so much as a wince at it since I was a small boy in the 80’s.

Your comment was the first reference I’ve seen to it as a curse in nearly 20 years.

Though I suppose people of different religious and regional backgrounds may still see it differently.

the most frequent swear word i’ve heard in the real world is a certain word pertaining to feces, yet it’s still bleeped on most channels (and maybe here, hence why i avoided using the actual word).

Not the Saturn or the original PC-98 version?
    Don’t need.
Windows version was censored as hell. PC-98 version had full hentai scenes. Saturn version didn’t, but it was much less censored than the Windows version, and looks much more beautiful overall.

Very nice art,  I prefer the art for older VNs like this and Policenauts.. the original ver looks much better than the PS2 & PSP remake too..  wonder if I could still play and save this on the Saturn, not sure if the lithium battery is dead.. diff seiyuu for the PC & Saturn ver too..

    • KuroiKen

PC/Saturn versions had different seiyuus? never knew. Probably because I only played PC98/Saturn version.

      • Aoshi00

Yeah, seems so, I just chk’ed the Jpn wiki page, the new Windows/PSP ver have new seiyuu.. I definitely prefer the older cast.. Saturn was a great system for VNs..

The PSP remake’s art looks awful though..

        • KuroiKen

Yeah, I too prefer either oldschool PC-98 art(like, really oldschool, but I still like it), or Saturn version art. The PSP remake’s art do I put it, childlike?
Listened to seiyuus in windows version on Youtube…yeah…definitely better not hear it, if you played it on Saturn.

        • Ugh, wow. That is some rotten art for the PSP version. It looks so bland.

        • Kojiro looks emo and Patricia and Mayako look like grade schoolers, and they replaced such a perfect cast of voice actors. Somehow neither facepalm or headdesk  can cover that level of ball dropping.

        • Guest

They’re all lolified to the moe

You do know you can easily replace the battery in the Saturn, right?

It’s a normal CR2032 (button-style battery), just pop the battery cover on the back of the console and replace.  They’re cheap too, a couple bucks in any drugstore, watch or camera store, all-in-one places like Target or Wal-Mart.  Or just search Amazon for CR2032 and you’ll see tons – there are some generic brands on there where you can get a pack of 25 packs for like 5 bucks.

      • Aoshi00

Tks, yeah, I did try to replace the Saturn battery once but it was some yrs ago, think I still have a spare left somewhere but forgot where it is.. I rarely play it, just find it inconvenient the battery runs out and needs to be replaced..

    • your avatar made this comment very hilarious (to me)

  • Bought this even though I already own a hard copy. I can only hope this sells well enough that it gets the people of MG to at least consider seeking out the license holders to the rest of the series so we can see the sequels (except Adam) and prequel in english…hey, I can dream can’t I?

Isn’t it weird how Anime art styles like that just die out with the times?

  • The art style looks quite old……

And the topmost pic, I wonder wht tht guy is smiling at….. ^.^

  • Wow, if MG is able to dig deeper into the VNs of yesteryear…
And I guess even in anime people had very shiny hair.. Nearly 20 years ago 0_0

This is something I meant to play years ago and kinda forgot about.  How good is the actual gameplay in this?  How does it compare to, say, Snatcher?

    •  There’s not really any gameplay aside from looking/thinking about every command multiple times, and you hit a lot of brick walls where you have to arbitrarily switch between characters and look/think at everything to move on. it gets very, very bad in the final chapter.

HimeyaSoft’s 1998 translation of this was UNBEARABLE. Think Working Designs, but with forced, witless innuendo. The name “Monica Blewclinsky” is used. No joke. Hopefully this release is a bit better.

  • ALL AGES? there is clearly some suggestive themes but hey looks awesome in any case!

A game that I’d actually want to see the ero scenes in doesn’t have them… :(
