Dude I seriously can’t wait to blast some Death Metal while playing this. PLEASE COME TO THE STATES THIS YEAR! I BEG OF THEE INAFUNE!

Perhaps we should sacrifice a soul so to obtain this soul sacrifice…

Those who knows me well should know. I’m currently looking around to see if I can spot Michael commenting.

      • sacrifice ur time to obtain this game…

        lit. waiting.. :) ROFL

  • The_Real_Oyashiro

They uploaded the showing in english and the site for the game is also in english. I would say that this game being released in the west is pretty much 100%!

    • FitzpatrickPhillips

Very rarely will a japanese game thats all gory and brown ever not leave Japan.

  • usagi_san

    The gameplay looks alright.

If the rest of the soundtrack is as good as those two pieces, I would like to get a copy of it.

I have no friends! All will be sacrificed as I seek my revenge. :D

  • Zonron

i wounder how much customizing there is in the game. do you just select from a set? or can you pick and swap peaces threw out the game.

  • Domii

I took a lot of flack from people here when I said this game sounds “revolutionary”. So I guess ill tone it down a little by saying,This game looks like it’ll be “the best fantasy game ever”. There you have it guys, no exaggeration, and no bold statement from me.

Looking interesting so far. Though I am still waiting what kind of repercussions will sacrificing body parts eventually cause the player, now that they’ve shown clearly how items can be used instead.

And that sacrifice or salvation boss option at the end. I’m afraid I’m one of those players that’s too soft to do harm and prefer to save when you still can. I look forward to seeing how the playstyles will turn out.

  • sacrificing your downed party members sounds pretty hilarious.

“Oh, thank God, you got here in time.  I got an idea of how we’re going to beat this thing.”

“I’ve got a pretty good strategy myself.  Sorry buddy.”  *Rips out the downed player’s spine*

    • Zonron

RELEASE THE KRAKEN!!! um…. im borrowing your spine.. lol

makes you want to be the best player on the team, so you don’t turn to kindling.

  • Zonron

what kind of dlc do you think it will have?

  • Rex2

I started playing a paladin to block for my party in DQIX and recently priest in DFO and paladin in RO so I can take the damage instead of party members.
Now I can be a shield and then be an awesome fire spell? This game looks more interesting with every bit of gameplay I see.

That quick dash also looks good for when I want to go back to my old rushing tactics. If I die, there will be no problem this time around when I do that :D

  • badmoogle

Saw these earlier today, game definitely looks very interesting.I think SCEJ is doing a great job with new IPs but unfortunatelly Vita also needs the support of third parties in order to survive…

  • Christopher Nunes

I’m not too keen about sacrificing my body parts for power-ups but this does sound promising and an interesting concept and I would like to give it a try.

I wonder how online is going to be like? I mean, if you’re a hindrance to the team I bet they wouldn’t think twice about sacrificing you to save their hide.

Kinda scary when you think about it.
Though the VITA does need more games to support it and I like to have this game come out to the US, I think it will do well!

  • d19xx

Anyone have any idea what is it to grind/farm in this game? Are upgrades or spells equipment or skill based?

So far it seems that this is the game that really shows the Vita’s power. Those multiple screens shows the action synchronized smoothly with all those effects without affecting the framerate.

If I didn’t know this is for the Vita, I could have easily mistaken it for a console game.

  • Göran Isacson

Fascinating stuff about this game… though am I the only one currently thinking that the wizard described in the book, the one we play, will totally turn out to be the cruel wizard that has enslaved the child reading the book? Just for the sake of a twist?

    • Zonron

i was thinking about the same thing. it would be pretty messed up if at the end of the game you end up dooming yourself, or looping yourself into eternal conflict with yourself.

  • Zonron

i really enjoy the music. i hope there is a preorder bonus with the soundtrack included :3

  • this is very interesting, very very interesting.. give you another reason to buy vita. it kinda remind me of a manga. hahaha. i hope that it will be released soon. :D makes me excited..

  • AzureNova

OMG this looks like so much fun! I really hope this gets localized soon!
