Among the people that worked on Batman: Arkham City’s sound effects was foley artist, John Roesch (The Dark Knight, The Matrix, Inception,Fight Club). In a developer diary feature, Roesch and game director, Sefton Hill, show how sound effects for Arkham City were created:

Warner Bros. released the behind-the-scenes feature as part of their promotion for the upcoming “Game of the Year” edition of Batman: Arkham City. The updated edition will contain all previously released DLC and the new Harley Quinn’s Revenge episode, which takes a few weeks after the game.

Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition will be available on May 29th in North America for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Does anyone know if saves from the regular edition will carry over to the GOTY edition?  I can’t seem to get a straight answer.

The Game of the Year edition shouldn’t be any different than the regular edition with all DLC downloaded.  So yes, older saves should work. I haven’t played a GotY that doesn’t allow older saves to work atleast.

Its a pretty big dick move when devs do that and correct me if I am wrong but I believe RE5 gold ed used different saves and was not compatible with vanilla copies of 5.

Rememberd this when I saw that bone breaking part.

One of the ugliest box arts ever.  I’ll buy the GotY as soon as I find that all DLC is on disc and not a voucher, but I’ll switch the case with the regular version or try to purchase just an empty case with inserts.  Usually I like to keep things complete in their original form, but this I can forego.

That was actually really interesting. I was thoroughly entertained by the celery bit. Now I’ll always snap celery in half before I’m eating. That’s how Batman would do it!

Does anyone know if the GOTY ed comes with the DLC on the disc? If not I will just buy it in pieces off the PSN and skip the double dip.

well, goty almost always mean with dlc and expension all on the same disk, that’s why they make a goty version
