Scenes From Project Zero 2: Wii Edition’s Creepy Haunted Village Story

Nintendo have updated the official Japanese site for Project Zero 2: Wii Edition with a three-minute story trailer of the game. Project Zero 2 is about two twins—Mio and Mayu. One day, the two return to a spot they used to play at as children, and follow a mysterious crimson butterfly into the woods, which leads them to a haunted village.     That was a pretty spoilery trailer… for those who haven’t already played the game, I mean.

    Looks like they also kept the Promise ending from the Xbox version.

      Yeah it’s pretty spoilery. I wonder if they think most people who will play the game will have already played the original?

      Though the trailer for the original was a tad spoilery as well…

    Yeah, that’s pretty much how I feel right now. Usually it only one of those lines but man, seeing the trailer just made me realized how much I love this game again especially Crimson Butterfly. The new OST was epic too!!

    umm, siliconera is a little bit late with these, the new trailer is posted on youtube on May 15, 2012 and the official japanese website has been updated since last week, the new trailer is posted on the website on May 16, 2012

  • I have waited for this remake quite a time and of course NOE ruined everything because they must implement only English VA to the EU version without the Japanese VA…I don’t believe it is hard to implement dual voice acting especially when they gonna add English subtitle to the EU version of English game. I can’t believe it is so hard to change some text and synchronise them with Jap VA….

  • this better be released in the west
