Two Years Later, Sorcery Turns Your PlayStation Move Into A Magic Wand

By Ishaan . May 22, 2012 . 1:00pm

Finn is an apprentice who studies under the guidance of his master. By accident, he blows up his master’s alchemy lab. Then, his master’s talking magical cat, Erline, convinces him to wander into the realm of the dead. By doing so, he accidentally releases the Nightmare Queen upon the world, who naturally wants to destroy it. That’s how PlayStation Move title, Sorcery, begins. It’s out today, and here’s a trailer:

Being a PlayStation Move game, you would expect to be able to swing your Move controller around like a wand, and that’s what the game lets you do. Sorcery was initially shown off at E3 2010, so it’s been in development for quite a while.

Looks nice but not sure if it’ll sell now seems a bit late to the party while most people have moved past the Move..

I’m not counting the Move out yet. I love how much attention it’s been getting with rail-shooters coming down the tubes.

I’d been looking forward to see how this turns out. Seemed to be the most promising Move title at launch. Hope they do a demo.

I might pick this up once the early summer game release schedule is over. It looks like a fun title.

I wonder if hte cat is a villain manipulating the hero, or if she just has really really REALLY bad judgment.
