This Is Max. In Anarchy Reigns, You Need To Track Him Down

By Ishaan . May 30, 2012 . 1:33pm

Up above is Maximilan from Anarchy Reigns. At one time, Max was the leader of Strike One, a team that Leo, Nikolai and Sasha are a part of. Now, he’s a fugitive and on the run, and both Leo and Jack are after him, although, we don’t know why. Sega sent the reveal of Maximilian out alongside new screenshots and other details of the game.

As previously reported, Bayonetta will be bringing some new moves to Anarchy Reigns that she didn’t have in her own game. The screenshot above is from her selection screen and shows her in an alternate colour outfit.

Sega also revealed Anarchy Reigns’ 4 vs. 4 Capture the Flag multiplayer mode with new screenshots. Take a look at these below:

Anarchy Reigns will be released in Japan on July 5th. A Japanese demo will be released on May 31st, details of which can be found here. In the meantime, you can find the rest of the new screenshots for the game below:

  • I’m still pissed at the fact that this game was canceled for North America.

    • Guest

This game is not canceled for NA. It is still coming out for the US and EU, but the release date is being planned.

    • Genjo

it’s NOT cancelled it was moved from date to TBC it went to set date to TBC release date because it seems they might NEEED more time work on the game? but it’s NOT cancelled..

      • WilliamJasper

         I don’t get this….

        • Guest

Basically what I said before. TBC means To Be Confirmed. That means that the release date for the US and EU isn’t confirmed yet, which means it is still being planned. The company to make the final decision of when the game is released in US/EU is Sega themselves.

          • WilliamJasper

I see. Now I get it. Thanks.

    • Code

Not cancelled, between localization and global servers/tweaks for online play the game likely requires additional time for global release. That is all.

  • Shadowman

I wonder when we can get this game since they delayed it even further?

  • The delay is really unfathomable. The market is dry, platinum have stated that it’s already gold and ready for release but it’s been postponed…For the 3rd time now if I remember correctly. I can’t help but feel that if they wait too long to release this it’ll damage their sales. We have fighters, shooters, remakes, adventures and just about every genre imaginable ready to saturate the autumn/winter period. They’re just going to lose custom if it comes out with everything else and a lot of it.

  • ArcadiaSymphonia

Hey i need adice form you guys i got enough money to reserve and fully pay off two games one is a 3ds game i am definite pre ordering but i dont know if the other one should be anarchy reigns or dead or alive 5 it was going to be anarchy reigns till i heard about the north american delay so i was thinking dead or alive but then what if anarchy reigns comes closer than dead or alive 5 if anyone could help me that would be much appreciated!

    • z_merquise

Personally, I’ll go with Anarchy Reigns.

DoA 5 looked really good but Anarchy Reigns is a kind of beat-em-up I really like to play. Also, Platinum Games deserves more support.

  • LittleMofreaky

Max is so gonna be my character.

  • I don’t like these Bayonetta skins. In her game, her suit was made from her own hair, how can I be expected to believe she has yellow/white hair covering her body but only the black hair appears on her head?

  • pho_Enix

When I first saw that image I thought it was Bitores Mendez from Resident Evil 4

  • StaticDestroyer

You can play the whole demo in english.
5th option down in the settings is the language settings and 3rd in the submenu is for the interface language. Assuming the whole game has that feature, it’s already localazied.

  • I really need to start finishing games I get. Still need a Wii to actually play Madworld though, and it’s a good thing it’s relatively cheap right now.
