Kirby Super Star And Donkey Kong Are This Month’s Club Nintendo Rewards

By Ishaan . June 1, 2012 . 11:00am

Since we’ve entered a new month, Club Nintendo in the U.S. has changed its downloadable game rewards as per usual, with four new titles available. On the Nintendo eShop for the 3DS, you have the Game Boy Donkey Kong (100 coins) and Brain Age Express: Sudoku (150 coins) for DSiWare.

(Note that you can only claim these rewards on a 3DS—even the DSiWare game.)

On the Wii front, Club Nintendo’s giving away the SNES Kirby Super Star (150 coins) on the Virtual Console, pictured above. Meanwhile, WiiWare gets Maboshi’s Arcade (also 150 coins). All four game rewards will be available until June 30th.

I wish they would release Super Star on 3DS too. :(

  • I still wish I had my old copy of Kirby Super Star for the SNES :( . I got the Ultra version of the DS, but it’s just not the same.

    • How is it different? I’ve played my friend’s copy, and it feels just as good as the original.

      •  3D cutscenes and extra content, but I got the one for the SNES as a b-day gift because I was really into Kirby as a kid and the only reason I don’t have it anymore is because it got reposed with some stuff in this storage place that my mom didn’t specify was getting reposed. I’m fortunate more of my stuff didn’t go with it, but most of the games that weren’t on a disc and belonged to me went adios, that’s including a bunch of old and rare Hot Wheels cars and legos I had. /mini rant

Aww come on. I really want to play Kirby and fight that Giant bird. T^T My childhood memories!!

  • Brimfyre

Yeah! Battery backup on my SNES cart is dead.  Thank you Club Nintendo!

  • Both two are great games.  I remember buying the original KSS on the SNES brand new for upwards of 70 bucks back in the day.  Friggin’ Sears…

This E3, all I want form Nintendo is an announcement that Wii, Wii U and 3DS will share the same Virtual Console.

Alright, that’s not the only thing, but c’mon Ninty. I’m sure it’d be no easy task (at least for bringing the whole library to 3DS), but it would make a lot of folks happy, and I know our happiness is your top priority.

I’m saying the same thing.  I’m done with paying for the same game on 2 related hardware products.

      Nintendo account or die, dammit.

      • I agree with this, that’s part of the reason Nintendo’s been falling behind this generation.

    • If they can’t even admit that they should have made their Eshos profile-linked rather than console linked, theres no way they’d ever do something else right either.

Nintendo just doesn’t know how to streamline internet content.

Not fair, why can’t the UK club Nintendo do this? The UK one is rubbish,it needs more stuff to get on it.

Donkey Kong ’94 is a STELLAR title. If you liked the Mario vs. Donkey Kong games, you should definitely check it out.

  • Aw drats. For a second I thought Kirby Superstar would be available for the 3DS. >.<

  • Lucky me, I have enough coins for Kirby Super Star, even though I already have KSSU.

  • boundries_san

This release is much better than last month here.^^ DK and Kirby is all i need here.^^

But once again.T_T Why can’t they just make the game on Wii and 3DS the same here.T_T I also wanted to play Kirby on my 3DS here.

  • guess i’ll never use my club nintendo points on virtual console/eshop
