South Park: The Stick of Truth has characters from the show, but it makes you a main character as well. Slated for release on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, South Park: The Stick of Truth looks just like the cartoon, and calls you the “new kid,” who teams up with the regular cast of the show:

South Park: The Stick of Truth will be published by THQ on March 5th, 2013. They also announced today that the first three downloadable episode packs for the game will be available first on the Xbox 360.

Being a massive fan of the show, my excitement for this game is ridiculously high. Even more so that it is a turn-based RPG.

The only worthwhile thing shown at Microsoft’s E3 personally. XD

I was really sceptical of a South Park RPG but I’m so glad I can put all this uneasiness I felt to one side. This looks like it will be a really funny and fun game.

  • Maybe this game can gain new fans for turn-based battles which can mostly be found in JRPGs ;D

  • Damn, I need this

LMFAO at Cartmen “HOLY F******* S***” That was to funny!

  • Solomon_Kano

Fudge yes. I will have this.

This reminds me of Penny Arcade´s Precipice of Darkness. But it was kinda slow for my tastes. Still I enjoyed the dialogue though.

Regarding the trailer, every single scene felt like the series, so I´ll be keeping an eye on it.

  • Not too shabby. Might pick this one up.

While it’s an interesting project, the fact that it is being developed by Obsidian does not instill me with confidence.

If Obsidian has been consistent in anything, it has been in producing games that had interesting concepts, but were also technical nightmares. Granted, it wasn’t always their fault….but after five different games, all suffering from significant technical issues and all being published by different publishers, you start to see a pattern.

Overall, for the sake of anyone who is excited for this game, I hope they won’t slouch on the QA testing for this title.

… This was the most hilarious trailer to come out of E3 thus far, mostly because I can totally see this as being an episode of the show and not just a game. I think that… yes. I think that I am honestly, truly PSYCHED about a game despite having seen not one ounce of gameplay footage. This is new and somewhat frightening.
